Biochemist with the Laboratory of Biomedical and Environmental Sciences, UCLA
The Wallaces have
over 70 years of combined experience in plant physiology, soil science, ecology
and plant nutrition with over 600 publications. They have authored special issues
in Soil Science, Journal of Plant Nutrition, Communications in Soil Science
and Plant Analysis. These issues concerned revegetation of disturbed lands,
plant analysis to assess mineral needs of plants, determination of normal and
abnormal nutrient concentrations, chelated micronutrients in plant nutrition,
iron nutrition, excess trace elements in soil and plants, multiple action factors
on plant growth and improvement of the physical properties of soil.
